God’s Planet for Haiti is funded strictly through financial contributions, nonmonetary donations, and fundraisers. All funds raised by GP4H are used strictly in the ministry to pay the staff along with purchasing food and school supplies. At Christmas each child receives a shoebox gift filled with a toy, toothbrush, socks, shoes, underwear, soap, shampoo, and other essential items distributed during a dinner hosted by the ministry for the entire village.
“The idea is to take 20 more children every year and educate them through high school as we get the support,” said Executive Director and founder Jemps Maignan.
